5 Tips to Organize Your Kitchen

September 29, 2015

Giving your kitchen an organizational makeover will not only make your life easier, but also make your meal preparations a whole lot tastier! With busy lives, these hacks can make your kitchen clutter-free and functional.

Containers:

Containers can be a huge lifesaver when it comes to the kitchen, especially the pantry. Try using transparent ones for visibility and easy access. To minimize the time it takes to look for the desired container, try adding labels.

Shelf Organizers:

Most kitchens are known for being swamped with pots, pans, and of course dishes. Adding shelves inside your cabinets can avoid any sort of clutter, while also making it aesthetically pleasing.

Drawer Trays:

Spoons, knives, forks, oh my! Utensils are famous for crowding drawers. Placing trays can help to separate your entire collection, making them easily accessible. By grouping your spatulas, cutting knives, etc. into different trays, you can eliminate any chance of rummaging through your drawers.

Over the Door Organizers:

This can be a huge help when there is limited space in the pantry.  Smaller, packaged goods can be placed in each clear pocket, reducing your search time.

Pegs:

Adding pegs and hooks can take care of dishtowels, aprons, and even oven mitts. By mounting them in areas near your sink or oven, you can grab them right on the spot, as needed.

These simple solutions can help to ease the stress of dealing with a chaotic kitchen.  A clean, efficient kitchen leads to a smooth cooking process, bon appétit!
