Why You Need Plants in Your Minimalist Space

Wide open spaces and neutral, modern colors are the classic look for minimalism. Don’t let that stop you from filling your home with plants. Well… don’t fill. Just place strategically. Minimalism is all about the placement, avoiding clutter. Clutter is the enemy.


Place a plant in every room. Plants will bring life to your spaces! You need life! And they filter those pesky allergens in your homes which nobody needs. It adds contrast to your spaces.



Plants in your home also improve your mental health. Caring for a living thing proves your potential! It improves your very well-being and mood to come home to a plant. Oh, you already have four kids? And a dog? Well, get a low maintenance plant like a cactus. Cacti and succulents are so in right now.



Still don’t feel like you have the time to take care of one more thing in your life? What about artificial plants?  Yes, they don’t have the greatest reputation however they are not as bad as you may think. It’s the amazing contrast between the neutral colors and the bright, lively hue of plants you need. It brightens up a room. 


All in all, the great thing about plants in your organized home is that they bring a degree of warmth to your spaces, but they don’t do what we hate… add clutter.
